Week 14 Field Outing
Introduction Week 14 was the final week that AT319 students performed data collection missions at PWA for the semester. Once again, Aeropoint GCPs and ArcCollector were used to collect GCP data. Maps for the Aeropoint GCPs and ArcCollector GCPs are provided below with the other maps and insets. One student also used ArcCollector to record a walking path of the GCP placement. Five GCPs were used for this outing. The weather was not ideal heading into the week 14 lab. While driving to PWA, many students reported a heavy rain shower. At the start of the lab, there were some snow flurries as well as graupel. This was the last snowfall of spring in Indiana. The weather cleared up within 20 minutes of the lab start and flights were completed. Flight crews only flew one flight each in week 14.
